We found that Adobe has enabled protected mode by default in Acrobat which is causing slowness and crashing.

To disable it, you need to:
1: Open Acrobat
2: On the top left corner, click the hamburger menu that says Menu
3: Click on the option that says "Preferences"
4: On the new menu, scroll down on the left side and click on "Security (Enhanced)"
5: The first box of that menu says, "Enable protected mode at startup". Make sure that option is not selected (that there is no blue checkmark).
6: Close Adobe and reopen it. That should fix the issue.
