How to Schedule a Zoom Meeting

To Create a Prescheduled or Recurring Zoom Meeting: 

  

  1. Go to Trevecca-edu.zoom.us 

  2. Select 'Sign in' 

  3. Sign in with your Trevecca Email and Password 

  

  

  1. Click on "Meetings" on the left-hand side of the page  

  

  

  1. Select "Schedule Meeting" on the right-hand side of the page.  

  2. Set Your Meeting Details. If you want a meeting to repeat at the same time each week, or multiple times a week, select 'Recurring Meeting'  

 

  

 

  1. Set Your Meeting Options. For more closed meetings, a passcode is recommended, though not required. It is recommended that the Waiting Room be turned off. 

  2. The settings below should make for the most seamless experience for all users.  

  

  

  1. When you click "Save," you will be presented with a confirmation page that has the meeting details. The "invite link" is what you will share with your participants. If you set a passcode on the previous page, it will also be visible here. You should share the passcode with your participants as well.  

  2. You can also send calendar invites to your participants via email from this page.  

  

  

 

To Start Your Meeting:

 

  1. When you are ready to start your meeting, launch Zoom on your desktop.  

  2. Select 'Sign in with SSO' 

  3. Enter "trevecca-edu" in the url box.  

  4. Your default web browser will open, you will sign in with your Trevecca credentials, and the app will be logged in. You can close your browser window after the Zoom app is logged in.  

 

 

  

 

  1. Your list of prescheduled meetings will be on the left-hand side of the zoom window

  2. Select start to begin.  

  

  

Tip: You can also accomplish all the above steps from the 'Schedule' button in the Zoom application.
